• General Relaxation Massage

Many people have no muscular complaints and regularly see me for a periodic "tune-up" to help alleviate everyday stress.

A massage will break the cycle of chronic pain by releasing tight muscles that are overworked. Increased blood circulation, improved sleep and reduced pain are just a few of the benefits.

  • Prenatal Massage

With preparations at home for the new arrival, most women seldom think of getting a massage to ease pain and muscular restriction.

Continued stress, deadlines at work, managing a home and perhaps other children as well, massage to relieve the mom to be from that nagging backache or tired feet is a great idea.  With baby on the way, mom needs to be careful when using prescribed medications and over the counter remedies. Massage is a safe and natural way to help keep pain and stress at a minimum and wellness at a premium. Pre-natal women can receive massage all the way up to full-term without concern of inducing labor. On the client’s initial visit, she will complete a medical intake form that I will use to keep a record of muscular problems and treatment notes. The client is modestly draped with a sheet for warmth and privacy, only the area being worked is uncovered.

Massage releases endorphins, (the body’s natural painkiller) allowing the body to “recover” from life’s daily stress and demands. Carrying baby increases stress and pressure on the mother’s neck, lower back muscles, legs and feet. When receiving a massage, I will ask the client several times how the pressure is, to ensure that she is comfortable. Extra work can be addressed to problematic areas during the course of the session. The client is side lying on the table and uses several pillows to keep her comfortable. Session length is up to the client, some people start out with a 30-minute session to address specific problems only, and others prefer 60 or 90-minute sessions.

  • Workers' Compensation/Auto Accidents

In many cases with a doctor’s prescription, auto accidents and Workers’ Compensation injuries are 100% covered by insurance.

I specialize in neuromuscular therapy, which is 8-12 seconds of deep pressure in a given area until the muscle releases. Your pain tolerance will always be respected and I will work within those tolerances, so that when I finish you will feel relief.

Afterwards you may feel tender from the massage, however the initial muscular problem will begin to diminish along with the tenderness. I can do very light to very deep pressure along with other combined techniques such as shiatsu (stretching), effleurage (long deep strokes) and petrissage (kneading).  If muscular pain is not an issue, a full-body relaxation massage will leave you feeling refreshed and calm.

  • On-Site Chair Massage

Chair massage is a 15-minute upper body massage performed in the seated position, in a specially designed chair, using no oils and without disturbing everyday business attire.

The special chair allows access to the neck, shoulders, arms, hands and back. On-site massage will help reduce mental stress and fatigue, and ease tense muscles. It is quick, convenient, affordable, and leaves you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated with instant results. Rates are a dollar per minute

  • Home or Office Calls

A massage can be schedules either at the office or as a house call. I have a portable table, sheets, and music that I use for house calls.

*A small travel fee will apply for a house call.
